Denovan Adam, was a major wildlife painter of his time, in his ;later
years he moved in 1887 to Craigmill House, Stirlingshire, where he set up
a school of animal painting (County Atelier). and he kept many animals for
living specimens, including Highland Cows, Sheep, Dear and Owls
