Thomas Sidney Cooper was one of a
group of artists who painted animals in landscapes and studied under
Verboeckhoven in Brussels. He exhibited numerous paintings at the Royal
Academy and continued painting until shortly before his death at 99 years
of age. Thomas Cooper also collaborated with Frederick Richard Lee on a
few occasions.
